Brite iD Ltd manufactures
iLam™ e-passport RFID inlays for use in passport covers
and data pages. The inlay is a laminate consisting of
an elastomer core containing the RFID chip and antenna,
with outer layers of sheet material, such as passport
cover stock, security paper or laser engraveable polycarbonate.
The lamination is formed under heat and pressure without
adhesive and provides an extremely secure and durable
inlay which can be used on existing passport lines without
modification. The RFID chip cannot be removed and replaced
without causing irreparable damage to the inlay.
